This onsen or mineral bath is located just outside of Niigata in northwestern Japan. The area is renowned for its healing waters. Mineral baths are known as the "blood of the earth" and have many recuperative and regenerative qualities. The name of the onsen is Taiyo Onsen and the area is known as Tsukioka.
